We jammed so much in the first 3 days of this New York trip & it was so much fun, BUT that's not all! As you'll see in this vlog - we explore Central Park 🌳 See an iconic Home Alone 2 hotel 🏨 meet Santa at Macy's 🎅 and explore a few more Christmas Markets 🎄 On Day 4 of our trip we go to the famous Ralph's Coffee in the Upper Eastside, visit The Met, take a stroll through Central Park, & take in all the Christmas things! On Day 5 we go to the East village to get breakfast , run into one of our favorite celebrities, visit Chelsea Market, & meet Santa Claus at the World Famous Macy's Santaland, We also had the BEST Pizza we've ever had in our lives! 🍕 On our last day Meg & I revisit some of the things we wanted to see again, visit Union Square Holiday Market, Papillons Christmas Bar, & the Ralph's Coffee Truck! We then return home to the best surprise you'll have to watch til the end for!! 😭 We squeezed every bit of Christmas out of NYC on this trip & it was totally worth it! We highly recommend going for 4-5 Days, staying a little bit out of the city, and going at the start of the week. You will be able to save money, have less crowds, and get more bang for you buck! We decided to make the bucket list trip and enjoy New York City at Christmas time! It did not disappoint! We planned a 6 day trip & squeezed everything we could into this trip. Our first day we booked a magical experience enjoying The Radio City Rockettes & their Christmas Spectacular! It was so cool & definitely recommend! The next day we explore 5th Avenue, visit the Bryant Park Winter Village & end the evening Ice Skating at Rockefeller Center. The following day we hit the southside of Manhattan, the Brooklyn Bridge, Brooklyn, & the world famous Dyker Heights Christmas Lights. We jammed a lot in within the first 3 days of our trip & it was so much fun! BUT that's not all! In this vlog we go camping with Toyota at Destination Outdoor! On our first day we meet the fleet of off-road Toyota's in Alpharetta, Georgia & make the trek to our first campsite in Dawsonville, GA. We had the opportunity to drive a variety of Toyota's on an off-road course & for us that was such a cool learning experience. We had never done off-roading before & the Destination Outdoor team was so kind to show us the ropes. This was my (James) first camping experience & I think I got the diamond experience! The team set up all of our gear for us & all we had to do was snooze. It was wonderful! The next day we made our way on some back roads up to the official Destination Outdoor location in Bryson City, North Carolina. There we met more of the Toyota team & got to see even more beautiful Toyota & Lexus lineup of vehicles! The next couple of days we spent driving around the Great Smoky Mountains & exploring a new car! It was such a fun & great experience with the Toyota team & Destination Outdoor! We are so thankful for the opportunity & can't wait to adventure with them again! On our last stop of our Washington Fall Roadtrip we stayed in Ashford, Washington to explore the beautiful Mount Rainier National Park. 🌋🍁 We had seen photos of the incredible fall colors & we’re so excited to see them! In this Vlog we explore Mount Rainier National Park, while dealing with some unfortunate weather. We also explore our stay, Paradise Village Resort, a Ukrainian family owned resort, spa, & restaurant. 🍁 We explore Longmire, Paradise, and a little of the skyline trail! Our last full day we make the trek into Tacoma, Washington and get some dinner & hit the arcades. The day we head home we spend some time taking in Pike Place Market! On this stop of our Washington Fall Roadtrip we take a few days to explore the Bavarian town of Leavenworth, Washington. We were absolutely blown away by it by its beauty! We got very lucky and ended up visiting in the middle of Oktoberfest & it was so lively and fun! Events happening every hour, Bavarian music being played on every street corner, & all the beautiful Bavarian garb. We didn't participate in the Oktoberfest festival activities as we didn't by advanced tickets & same day tickets are hard to get, but it didn't take away from our experience at all! If it is something you are interested in, we definitely recommend buying well in advance as they sell out pretty quickly each season. BUT if you can't and want to explore like we did, there are still so many activities, beer gardens, and restaurants that are available to enjoy. We specifically loved the unique architectural style & seeing all the Bavarian Garb. The food we enjoyed there was incredible & the seasonal beer was so so good! This year we decided to take on the Pacific Northwest (PNW) for our Fall Adventure. The PNW in fall is known for their larches! Larches are deciduous pines, not evergreens, and their needles change a beautiful yellow every fall season. It seems like something from a Dr. Sues book! We were on the hunt for the larches & all the fall colors! Our first stop was Bellingham, Washington, a beautiful college town with great shopping & food options. Just down the road is the picturesque neighborhood of Fairhaven, another great spot to shop & eat! We then took time to explore some of the main destinations in North Cascades National Park! So many beautiful view points & great hikes! Our last night we stayed in the old western town of Winthrop, located on the eastern side of North Cascades NP. It is such a cool town & a definite must stop if you're visiting the park. Everything is western themed & provides such a unique experience! After exploring Winthrop we drove back into the park to take on the famous Maple Pass Loop Trail. It is one of the more famous hikes in the park, one of the harder hikes, but offers some of the most majestic views! It is a steep climb, but the view from the top are unbelievable! We loved our time exploring the North Cascades & surrounding areas. We can't wait to plan another trip to explore more! We finally made it back to Disney World! We have always been huge Disney fans, but haven't been since the end of 2019 🥹 We were so happy to be back to ride some of our favorite rides, see the talented cast members perform, and enjoy the sites! We aren't a "just there for the rides" type of Disney fans. We love taking in the environment, watching the shows, & our favorite thing is the parades 🎉 In this vlog we make it to Magic Kingdom 🏰 🐭 Magic Kingdom is the go to park of all four parks. If you are visiting Disney World & can only go to 1 park, this is the one you have to do! We may be biased, but we love it much more than Disneyland! The way the Cinderella Castle stands out as soon as you turn on to Main Street is truly breathtaking! The park is laid out so well & with so many nostalgic rides, parades, & shows! You can't go wrong here! We were so happy to be back & take it all in, especially for Fall! One of things we love most about Magic Kingdom are the parades, fireworks, & shows! It's what makes the park so special. We love taking in the environment, watching the shows, & our favorite thing is the parades 🎉 In this vlog we make it to Epcot 🪩⛩️🛕 We LOVE Epcot, especially the World Showcase! It's such a unique & cool experience being able to walk around and enjoy different food from different countries, buy things from those places, & learn about them. We love that the employees are from those countries because it gives an immersive feeling to the tours! We got lucky & happened to be here during the Food & Wine Festival which provides even more opportunities to enjoy food from different places. Our first item of order on our trip to Epcot was the new Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind ride! Everyone told us it was THE BEST...... they weren't lying! It is such a fun & unique ride! We were lucky enough to ride it twice with the Virtual Queue & Lightning lane! Highly recommend doing that, if you're able to! We then made our way to France to try Remy's Ratatouille & also such a fun one! The rest of the day we spent hoping on some Disney Classics, exploring the World Showcase, & getting food in Mexico! Epcot is a HUGE park with a lot to see & do! It is worth spending a full day to take it all in!
